Adventures in blogging

So yes, I have finally set up a blog after feeling obligated to do so after seeing other twittering authors create their own. Anyhow, I am Xenia, you also may know me as pumpkin_3.14 or rosin eating zombie across the geekosphere. I am a geneticist, student, violin teacher/performer, sci-fi author, Pushing Daisies watcher, bonsai trainer, vocal republican, pumpkin pie maker and wanna-be podcaster (or so says my twitter profile). That's about it for now...I'd rather be in orchestra!
